All Together Now (ATN) is designed to facilitate "Shared Decision Making". The planner or facilitator who has been using an easel with large tablets of paper, magic markers and masking tape will find ATN is a flexible and efficient tool with greater benefits. By using ATN, the planner can increase plan productivity while reducing sessions lasting days to just a few hours.

All Together Now is also effective with groups for other planning, brainstorming ideas, and conflict resolution activities. Any activity that includes group discussion and consensus prioritizing is applicable. The program can be used for classroom instructional activities such as group writing projects, discussion of social issues, team counseling and debating.

All Together Now was initially developed for the education environment and is available to individual schools or regional service centers. ATN is equally at home facilitating shared decision making in the corporate world as well!

All Together Now is decisionware. It enables decision making by providing an environment in which electronic media design encourages dynamic participation for all team members. Participants can 'self-pace' their productivity without distraction or interruption. During this process, they can view other ideas at their own pace.

All Together Now is not meant to replace the traditional discussion group methods, but to enhance those methods with a new dimension of communication.

All Together Now is a computer software product with associated training. The technology requirement is a MS-DOS compatible local area network (LAN). Participants use LAN workstations as communicative devices for brainstorming and evaluating ideas.

All Together Now will work on a 'stand-alone' (single, non-networked) MS-DOS compatible computer for the purpose of facilitator training. The single station will also be effective as a polling device or opinion/idea gatherer.

All Together Now is user-friendly software. Participants do not need to be "computer literate" in order to use the program.
